It is with great sadness that given the ongoing wildfire and its response, the Abernethy Highland Games 2026 have been cancelled.

Is the Event Accessibility Friendly?
Disabled parking is available near the Secretary’s tent, accessed from the B970. The venue is fairly flat and is accessible to wheelchair users. There is ramped access to the Community Centre.
Is there car parking?
There is adequate free car parking in close proximity to the Games Field.
Can I pay by card?
Arrangements have been made for card payments at the entrance gates, subject to wifi signal. This usually works well, but have some cash (cash machine in the shop) just in case. Cash is always accepted!
Most stance holders accept card payments.
Where do I buy Strathspey Steam Railway tickets?
A combined Steam Railway and Games entrance ticket is available from Strathspey Steam Railway – www.strathspeyrailway.co.uk.
Where do I buy entry tickets?
Entry tickets are only available at the entrance gates on Games Day.
Where can I eat?
Full catering service is provided in the Community Centre. There are also a variety of food outlets on the field including a licenced bar.
Can I bring my dog?
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
